HAVING spent most of her life working with children one woman has stepped into the unknown to set up shop in Driffield. Sally Pick has opened children’s shoe shop Little Rascals on Market Place and said she is undaunted by the challenge of running her first ever shop. “I have always worked with children all my life. I have been a childminder since I left school about 16 years ago and then just fancied a new adventure,” she said. Sally, who works alongside shop assistant Rachel Edeson, said she is enjoying running her own business, an experience which so far has gone without a hitch. Rachel is a fully trained Start Rite fitter while Sally hopes to follow in her footsteps and undertake her Start Rite training by the end of May.
