Countess Vaughn is an American singer and actress and she is best known for her role as Kim Parker in TV series Moesha. She was born on August 8, 1978 in Idabel, Oklahoma. In 1981 at the age of 3 she began her performing career as a singer from a church and at the age of 9 she sang “I’ll Be There” in Star Search junior vocalist champion. In 1988, she started her acting career with the role of Alexandria DeWitt on 227. Vaughn also performed in television specials including The Magical World of Disney, the Lou Rawls Parade of Stars and the Orange Bowl Parade. In 1988 she performed in a musical mama I want to sing! Part 2. She released her first music album “Countess” in 1992 and her first album was a mixture of music verities including dance music and urban ballads.
