Who is the one person that should be remembered from this decade 100 years from now?
My many minds each have numerous answers so to be fair I will express each of my thoughts which will mean I cannot choose 1 person, rather suggest a few. Kevin Rudd for his political braveness in going against Australian tradition by doing what he felt is the right thing (In apologising and attempting to genuinly make peace with the Indigenous people of Australia, accepting past wrongs and sending a message of equality out to this ignorant nation) this ethical, emotional choice is not often seen in politics (especially the typical frightened of the ‘other’ gutless, white Australian obsessed crowd pleasing polititions of Australia’s past. The man from somewhere in Sydney that was the attention of the media for sometime, perhaps a year ago. He was in his thirty’s had attempted suicide twice and was denied entry into a mental health institution.
