Who is the Notary and who attends the completion day?
The Notary is a public official who oversees the signing of the title deeds and records it on public record that it was understood by both parties and signed in their presence. Everyone who is involved with the sale and purchase of the property attends. For example: Seller, buyer, agent (if one was used), bank manager (if a mortgage is to pay for the purchase), solicitor and notary.
