who is the new voice of clifford the big red dog on pbs?
For the past four years we have known and loved John Ritter as the voice of Clifford The Big Red Dog®. We came to know him not only as a man with huge talent but also as the very embodiment of Clifford’s generous spirit and unconditional love. His contribution to the world of children will be felt for years to come. Throughout his career, John brought warmth and laughter to the many roles he played… Emmy award-winning actor John Ritter came to national prominence as the star of television’s Three’s Company, Hooperman and Hearts Afire, and starred in more than 25 television movies, including Unnatural Causes, Stephen King’s It, and A Child’s Wish, which featured a special appearance by President Clinton. John also appeared in numerous motion pictures, including They All Laughed, Noises Off, Problem Child, Skin Deep, Sling Blade and Tadpole.
