GENESEE COUNTY, Michigan — President-elect Barack Obama promised change — something many people here have been working toward for years. The Flint Journal wants to honor them. In recognition of Black History Month, The Flint Journal will feature some of the area’s most influential leaders in the black community African-Americans — and not just those in high profile jobs. We also want to highlight those everyday people who make their corner of Genesee County a better place. So, tell us who they are.
