Who is the more talented artist, Alice Cooper -or- Rob Zombie?
Oh, Alice Cooper without a doubt! You are from the Rob Zombie generation, and he is very talented. I very much like Rob Zombie. I read somewhere that he collects art by serial killers. He supposedly has some of John Wayne Gacy’s art, for example. Beside the point, but interesting! Alice Cooper changed the face of rock n roll, though. His stage shows, his clothing style, his name, his in your face punk attitude. He always pushed the envelop and he put a new, sick twist on rock n roll shows. Chopping up baby dolls on stage with an axe? Having faux sex with a corpse? And, then he staged his own death in every show! Hanging, guillotine, etc. Alice turned rock n roll shows into a true theatrical stage show and he rolled out the red carpet for the punk rock scene. Alice Cooper was a TRUE pioneer!
