Who is the Indigenous Learning Company?
-The Who The Indigenous Learning Company – ILC – is a closely held private corporation with three shareholders – founders Rick Running Rabbit (Siksika First Nation) and Randy Morse (Métis), and the Kalispel Tribe of Indians. There are currently two ILC-affiliated publishing companies in North America. ILC-Alberta is jointly owned by ILC and Paul First Nation. ILC-Alberta holds exclusive rights to the ILC brand in Alberta. In the USA, ILC-Washington is wholly owned by the Kalsipel Tribe of Indians. ILC is contracted to provide publishing and strategic market development services to ILC-Washington, for which it receives a share of the Washington-based company’s revenues. We anticipate that a number of new ILC-affiliated entities will emerge during the course of 2007.
