The Indianapolis Jazz Orchestra is Indiana’s first permanent repertory jazz orchestra dedicated to the music of the big bands. Composed of 16 outstanding professional instrumentalists and 4 talented vocalists from Central Indiana, the IJO was created to represent the entire dynamic history of the Big Band. The IJO is the newest performing arts organization in Indianapolis dedicated to serving the Central Indiana community at large.
