Who is the greatest economic power in the world today?
As countries: the US As blocks and/or countries: the EU. As future economic power: China (if the trend is uninterrupted by that tiny factor called resource scarcity). India is the largest “democratic mess” on the planet, but they’ll still be one of the “greats”, Russia lacks population, development, and they’re plagued by alot of problems from within. Brazil will overtake Russia in economic output. If technology allows for continued development without worries for the environment or the resources available i reckon the future G2 will be India-China, with US and EU in second tier.
