Possibly a player past or present could be named “greatest ever “. In all honesty though how do select the greatest. Is it on consistency over 4 quarters, their freakish abillity, match winning abillity,team leadership ? I admired Ron Barassi for his leadership and determination, and the same with rover Bobby Skilton 3 brownlows, Ted Whitten, could play any position, Gary Ablett snr and jnr, both for pure football abillity, then in the same bracket Jesaulenko ‘ you beauty ‘ Daryl Baldock,only the height of Acker,and magical at CHF,as was Phil Carman, Wayne Carey, Royce Hart, then there was Kevin Bartlett, Micheal Tuck, Jimmy Hird , Nathan Buckley, Mark Riscutto, Adam Goodes, Matt Scarlett, Jonathon Brown, Chris Judd, Micheal Voss, Peter Daicos, Garry Wilson, Unfortunately too hard for me, i can’t single one out !
