Who is the founder of the baptist church?
God of course, but humanly speaking, ever hear of John the Baptist? They were first called Christians in Antioch, but because of Johh, the Christians became known as Baptists. John was the baptizer…so we were called followers of the baptizer…Baptists. Many Baptists today do not understand that the Baptist Church does not have some man they can point back to in a particular year as the founder of their church.
