Remember this name, Sophie O’Connor. In years to come you’ll be able to say you were involved in the film that launched a stellar career. Sophie brings a blend of artistic brilliance and pragmatic skills to directing. Sophie recently won an award at Melbourne International Film Festival for her short film – “Run with the Ball or Die with your Boots On”. In recent times Sophie has taken over scripting and is fine-tuning the screenplay to the best it’s ever been. Sophie is also an accomplished musician, heading up the band Franklyn James, who will be playing NYE 2008 at Birrarung Marr.
