Who is the Director of Eagles Landing Camps?
Matthew Cannold (Founder/Director). Matthew, a founding Partner of Eagles Landing Camps, is the full-time, year-round Director of all Eagles Landing Camps programs. As the son of a camp director, Matt grew up in the camping industry and was a camper and then a staff member at Camp Winadu for seven years. He later worked his way through the ranks to become Assistant Director at Camp Laurel (1993) and Raquette Lake Boys Camp (1994) before becoming Assistant Director at Breezemont Day Camp in Westchester County, New York (1995 & 1996). In 1997 he moved to South Florida to start Eagles Landing Camps. Matthew earned his B.A. (Business) from Skidmore College and his MBA from Fordham Graduate School of Business Administration. He also earned a Certificate in Education from Concordia College and is a long time member of the American Camping Association.
