The Superintendent of Schools is responsible for the final decision. Before and during snowstorms, the Superintendent will consult with many people to receive updates on road conditions, including the Superintendent of the Highway Dept. Superintendents in nearby Districts and our Transportation Director. The Superintendent takes into consideration all factors associated with the storm which may include road conditions, parking lots and sidewalk conditions.
