Who is the Continuing Education Accreditation Organization?
All of the continuing professional education programs offered through Kent State On Demand are approved by the appropriate accreditation organization in Ohio. For example: • Continuing Legal Education programs have been approved for self-study or home-study credit by The Ohio Supreme Court Commission on Continuing Legal Education. • Social work and counseling programs are approved by the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board. • Kent State University’s College of Nursing is the accredited provider of all nursing programs. • Education programs have been approved by Kent State University’s College and Graduate School of Education, Health, and Human Services. • Continuing Dental Education programs have been approved for self-study by the Ohio Dental board.
