Who is the Center for Applied Cognitive Studies?
CentACS has conducted extensive research since 1986 on personality assessment and other brain-related research designed to help people work more effectively. In 1995 Pierce J. Howard, Ph.D., and Jane Mitchell Howard, M.B.A., published the first human resources trade literature article related to the Five-Factor Model of personality workplace assessment. Dr. Howard is also the author of The Owner’s Manual for the Brain: Everyday Applications from Mind-Brain Research. He and his book were featured on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” in May 1997. He and Jane have co-authored workbooks, manuals, and articles on the Five-Factor Model of personality assessment and are frequently presenters at regional, national, and international conferences.
