Who is the Caldicott Guardian for UCLH?
Professor Clare Fowler is the Caldicott Guardian for UCLH. Who do I contact for a Research Governance Sponsorship Agreement? This depends on who has agreed to act as Research Governance Sponsor. If UCL or UCLH has agreed to Sponsor your study, the Joint Unit will ensure that an applicable Agreement is in place. If an NHS or Primary Care Trust has agreed to act as Sponsor, contact their R&D office for advice. An agreement between multiple organisations involved in the study may be required. How will Research Governance responsibilities be allocated? If UCL and UCLH has agreed to sponsor your research project, the Joint R&D Unit will ensure responsibilities are clearly allocated, by liaising with participating organisations. However, some responsibilities can be delegated to individuals such as the Chief Investigator or Principal Investigator.
