I don’t think there is a way to tell. I have been seeing the best doctors in Virginia and because they know how “good” they are, they treat you like a number. There’s no personality behind their white coats. The best doctor is someone who, aside from the obvious of being knowledgeable, will gain your trust and listen to your worries. You can always verify their credentials. For example, Perinatologists specialize on high-risk pregnancies and are trained to not only treat you, but also on fetal monitoring. This is specially important in the onset of a premature delivery. They are able to assess your baby from the womb, to the outside world.
