We live in a small town but the community college here consistently gets athletes that go on to the professional level (mostly in football), so we’ve met some non-famous athletes who went on to be famous professional players.

Lonnie Brown, well known in chicago during his high school years outstanding in football, starter on basket ball and baseball teams where he also excelled His preasence and personality made the pep rallys an event ‘not to be missed’I boxed in same weight class as russ fickling, navy. Leon Spinks Marines Tommy Johnson Army and my self Jimmy Fields A.K.A. “chico ivory ali as the best in the air force. but the most impressive athlete to me is forever Chicago Fenger’s(Elliot Ness 1919, Juanita Vanoy late 70’s nee ‘Mrs Michael Jordan’ and ex Lthwt champ Montell Griffin, 1980’s)who brought many lasting memories to many!
