Vidic is just class and hardly ever puts a foot wrong. Scholes on the other hand is not always consistently brilliant but in last nights game he gave a masterclass, when he plays like that he is the best footballer in the world. So on his good days i say no one can match Scholes.

Well, if you consider their record for clean sheets then you would have to pick one of the back four, so my opinion would be Vidic. Underrated defender, and well worth the money. I would certainly think it has made Ferdinand a better player as well.
