Who is the base Health Care Coordinator (HCC)?

0

A. Each base and support unit has a senior medical person designated as the Health Care Coordinator (HCC). The HCC is responsible to ensure that you are provided with the proper medical care either through CF or civilian facilities, and to approve any medical services that are outside of the Spectrum of Care. In addition, the HCC is responsible to ensure that your health records are kept up-to-date. In many cases your base HCC is a physician, and may be your primary caregiver, but this is not necessarily the case.
