Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy was originally written by Douglas Noël Adams. He was born on March 11th 1952 and died on May 11th 2001. Douglas Adams was a British author, an armature musician, and even a radio dramatist, writing the book Hitchhikers guide made him very famous. It began on the radio and later developed into a five book trilogy (the books sold fifteen million copies or more during his lifetime). Douglas Adams later went on to write three stories for a science fiction movie called Doctor Who. Adams was an activist, and some say he was a self – described “radical atheist”. He loved fast cars and cameras even apple computers, basically he loved gizmos. He was a regular user of the internet and the e-mail much before they became widely popular.
