The Milestone Decision Authority is the SEP approving official. SEPs for ACAT ID and IAM programs are approved by the USD(AT&L) with recommendations from the appropriate Overarching Integrated Product Team (OIPT) Lead. The component acquisition executives set their own SEP approval policies for programs under their decision authority.
