Who is the approval authority for a consecutive overseas tour?
The approval authority for ITT COT is restricted to USAREUR G1, AEAGA-M(TARO) in coordination with HRC. Request for ITT-COT must be received by USAREUR G1, AEAGA-M (TARO) 12 months prior to the Soldiers DERSO proving assignment instruction have not been received. Request submitted less than 12 months before the Soldier’s DEROS must be submitted to USAREUR G1, AEAGA-M (TARO) as an exception to policy. USAREUR G1, AEAGA-M (TARO) will forward these requests to HRC.
