Who is Tenaska?
Tenaska is an energy company with headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska. Tenaska and its affiliates specialize in developing, financing, constructing, owning and operating reliable, cost efficient, environmentally responsible power plants. Established in 1987, Tenaska has developed approximately 9,000 megawatts (MW) of electric generating capacity across the United States. Tenaskas affiliates currently operate and manage eight power plants in six states totaling more than 6,800 MW of generating capacity owned in partnership with other companies. The companyalso markets natural gas, biofuels and electric power, provides risk management services for energy companies, and is involved in asset acquisitions, fuel supply, natural gas exploration, production and transportation systems, and electric transmission development.
