Who is Subject to a 0.02 Blood Alcohol Content Limit?
You will be subject to a 0.02 blood alcohol content limit (“BAC”) if any of the following apply: • You do not hold or have not in the past held an unrestricted licence. For example, if you are on P plates. • Your drivers licence is disqualified for driving under the influence (“DUI” – over 0.15 BAC). • Your drivers licence is disqualified for failing to comply with a request to take part in a breath, blood or urine test (“failing to comply”). • Your drivers licence is disqualified for a second or subsequent 0.08 BAC offence. • Your drivers licence has been cancelled on conviction for DUI, driving while impaired by drugs, failing to comply with a request to take part in a breath, blood or urine test or failing to comply with a requirement to undergo a driver assessment and you have been previously convicted of one of these offences or of a 0.08 BAC offence. • Your driver’s licence has been cancelled on conviction for excess 0.08 BAC and you have been previously convicted for DUI, excess
