Who is Stewardship Ontario?
Stewardship Ontario is a non-profit, industry funding organization that was created in 2002 under Ontario’s Waste Diversion Act. Stewardship Ontario works in conjunction with affected industry and Waste Diversion Ontario (a non-Crown corporation of the Ontario government) to manage waste diversion programs. Stewardship Ontario manages the Blue Box Program as well as the MHSW Program.
