Who is spending more time doing active sports rather than watching sports?

I lift weights 4 times per week at a gym,not really a sport until you consider I’m a competitive power lifter.I do USAPL meets as often as I can,but I’m currently seeking another sanctioning body to compete for as well.I only do drug free/tested meets,so the drug testing criteria is very important to me. I’ve also studied martial arts for 7 years,so you can add that and the tournaments I’ve competed in. I’m also an avid fisherman for many years now, some don’t consider it a sport, but it is. The only sports I ever watch are major boxing events,UFC and the ocassional fishing tourney.I would much rather participate than watch anyway. Unlike virtually all men in the US I have no interest in football, baseball, basketball or golf. This really limits the amount of sporting events available for me to watch.I do have to admit,if basketball is on I kinda get sucked in by the amazing team work some teams display.

Teens, and active adults play various sports, and unmarried people tend to play more than married people. Sources: http://72.14.203.104/search?q=cache:vT9SkVuuil8J:www.cces.ca/pdfs/CCES-PAPERSum-Smith-Fullerton-E.
