SME Global Solutions (SGS) began in 1998 as a local market, SME channel initiative with Flycast Communications. In 1999, the LocalNet Team became a part of Engage Technologies following the acquisition by CMGi. In the beginning of 2001, Engage was refocused into a pure software company. Engages Media business was spun off to form SME Global Solutions. The SME Global Solutions Network is one of the world’s leading web advertising networks, generating over 350 million impressions per month and reaching over 50 percent of all web users.
