Who is shooting holes in the much needed health care reforms?
Gentle readers of this American Chronicle, the magnificent ideas and words of Barack Obama are being diluted with amendments to the Health Care Bill. According to “Public Citizen” the Health Care Lobbyists are afraid of Malpractice Law Suits. This can-of-worms is threatening to derail the much needed health care reforms now in progress. Dear Joseph, A few weeks ago, we warned you that Congress might become distracted by lobbyists seeking to shield negligent doctors and hospitals from accountability. Today, at least 23 amendments to the health care bill would do just that, weakening our right to hold negligent providers accountable when they cause severe permanent injuries or death.
