• To be certified as an SDB a business must be • A small business concern • Owned and controlled by individual applying for SDB certification • A U.S. citizen • Have personal net worth less than $750,000 excluding primary resident and business equity. This satisfies the criteria for economic disadvantagement • Socially disadvantaged. Minority groups are presumed to be socially disadvantaged whereas non-designated group must document their social disadvantagement through “preponderance of evidence.” WHY YOU SHOULD CHOOSE ETC?
