Rob Thomas is the lead singer and the glue that holds Matchbox Twenty together. Without Rob, the sound would be different, and the band would no longer exist as we know it. Rob ventured out on his own, but his roots remained with the band. I like most of Rob’s solo stuff, but regardless of whether he is solo or with the band, he IS Matchbox Twenty!
