Who is responsible for training a new CSA contact person?
Local staff already familiar with the process would be the first resource to provide background and other pertinent information. DMAS offers training in conjunction with WVMI. Training opportunities are also made available through the Office of Comprehensive Services, and WVMI is available to answer any questions related to specific CSA reviews or their review process. General CSA utilization management training (not linked to Medicaid or WVMI) is available to localities through the Virginia Institute for Social Services Training Activities (VISSTA).
