Although access to the beach from the Litchfield By the Sea community is restricted to residents and their guests, walkers can come from the north or south to enjoy this beautiful stretch of beach. Since the county controls the beach, there are no lifeguards, patrol or regulations set by the Litchfield By the Sea community for the oceanfront.
