Who is responsible for taking care of my loved one?
There are a number of professionals involved in the care of our residents. Each member of our team plays a specific role in servicing the resident population. Our Medical Staff consists of a Medical Director, affiliated attending physicians, Psychiatric/Psychology Services and a full time Nurse Practitioner. Our Nursing team includes Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Certified Nurse’s Aides. We also employ or contract with professionals in the fields of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Pharmacy, Dietetics, Activities and Social Work. Our Certified Nurse’s Aides (CNAs) provide hands on care with our clients. They are responsible for providing residents with assistance in regards to their activities of daily living (ADLs). ADLs include such activities as eating, bathing, dressing, and toileting. This classification of employees is typically referred to as a resident’s primary care giver.
