The property owner is responsible for the sidewalk located in front of their property. City of North Bend Code 12.20.010 states: The owners of property adjoining any street in the City of North Bend shall have the duty to maintain a safe condition of repair, free of hazards and obstructions, of any sidewalk adjacent to their property, and shall be liable for any injuries or damages resulting from a failure to comply with such duty. Code 12.20.020 states: The City of North Bend shall not be liable for injuries or damages resulting from a failure to maintain sidewalks in a safe condition of repair, free of hazards and obstructions, except where such sidewalk is adjacent to property owned by the City of North Bend.
