Any construction and maintenance of a road in a new subdivision is the responsibility of the developer prior to assumption. However, the Development Construction Section within the Works & Transportation Department supervises the construction of new subdivisions to ensure that roads, storm sewers and lot grading are performed in accordance to the approved drawings and to the City s and the Province s standards.
