Who is responsible for reporting students who are at Career and Technical Education (CTE) centers?
At the current time, the career center should not be reporting the students unless it is receiving the money for the students directly from the state. In general, it is the administrative unit receiving the money for the student and maintains student records that should be reporting. Q: We are confused as to what to enter for our juvenile detention center students in Field #21 – Attendance. The field requires the number of days in attendance out of the possible number of days total. However, these students are often in and out very quickly. How do we address this? A: Do not report attendance on juvenile detention students.
