Who is responsible for recycler certification?

0

EPA does not audit facilities for compliance with the R2 Practices. The National Accreditation Board for Certifying Bodies (ANAB) accredits groups who can certify recyclers’ facilities to the R2 standards. ANAB’s Web site provides a list of accredited certifying bodies. To find the list of accredited certifying bodies go to www.anab.org ; choose “Search for a Certification Body”; select R2 as the standard. All accredited certification bodies and their contact information will be shown. Recyclers who have attained certification to the R2 practices will be awarded a Certificate of Certification from the accredited certifying body and their name will be displayed on the certifying body’s Web site.
