Who is responsible for moving items from the balconies, porches, and decks?
Owners are responsible for ensuring all furniture, plants and similar obstructions are removed from these areas prior to the start of work on that building. Please handle this task when you receive the building specific notice. The contractor’s price is based on efficient access to the work, which we have promised. Although we expect the contractor to be reasonable and somewhat accommodating, if the contractor is held up because these tasks are not complete, slowing the progress of the work, it will have every right to seek additional compensation.
