Who is responsible for making decisions on the proposed merger?

0

Subject to the views expressed by local stakeholders during the engagement period, a Joint Committee working on behalf of the three trust boards will put its proposals on handling the merger to the existing trust boards in February 2009. The trust boards will comment and make recommendations on these proposals and submit them to NHS London for approval – having taken into account the views expressed by stakeholders. NHS London will then send its own recommendations to the Secretary of State for Health, who must give final approval.
