Any accommodations / modifications that are indicated on the IEP are the individual responsibility of the educator delivering instruction. According to 34 CFR §300.347(a)(3), a statement of the program modification or supports for school personnel that will be provided for the child must be listed in the IEP. Each child’s IEP must be accessible to the child’s teachers and service providers, and each teacher and service provider must be informed of specific responsibilities related to implementing the IEP and of needed accommodations, modifications, and supports for the child.
