Who is responsible for handling the matters at the end of the lease?
The lease buyer, the individual to whom the vehicle is registered and whose name is in the lease at the time, is responsible for turning-in the vehicle when the lease ends at a location provided by the leasing company. The lease buyer is held responsible for the lease terms stated in the original lease. Such responsibilities include any termination fees, disposition fees, excess mileage, and excess wear and tear.
