Who is responsible for developing the Climate Action Plan (CAP)?

0

The CAP is a participatory initiative involving staff, students, faculty, alumni, and the Ithaca region. The Presidents Climate Commitment Implementation Committee, co-chaired by Tim Fahey, the Liberty Hyde Bailey Professor of Natural Resources, and Kyu-Jung Whang, Vice President of Facilities Services, oversees the development and communication of the CAP. Cornell University’s Office of Environmental Compliance & Sustainability (ECOS) is coordinating and directing the participation of Cornell staff, faculty, and students, as well as, interested parties from throughout the Ithaca region. Mindful of the technical complexity of this undertaking, Cornell has engaged AEI/Affiliated Engineers, Inc., a global leader in the development and implementation of sustainable strategies and technologies, to facilitate the CAP development. Energy Strategies, an energy infrastructure, technology, regulatory, and economics consultant firm has partnered with AEI on this project.
