Who is required to hold a registration?
A person by any name or title who is in the business of obtaining or attempting to obtain employment for artists, including a person that counsels or directs an artist in the development of the artist’s professional career. Advertisements placed in Texas and/or websites do not trigger the Texas talent agency registration requirements without the performance of a service described under the Act at a place of business or temporary location in Texas.
