Who is required to have a SLP?
Learning plans must be developed for all 8-12th and 5th grade students who were not successful on any or all areas of the Washington Assessment of Student Learning (WASL) during the previous year, and for 8-12th grade students who have credit deficiencies or have excessive absence rates that interfere with graduation. ALL plans must be adjusted annually until the student meets the standards.
