In North Carolina, a licensed electrologist is allowed to do electrolysis, thermolysis and blend, the 3 modalities of permanent removal. Laser Hair Removal should only be done by a certified laser technician or a doctor that has training in the subject of hair removal. I do not recommend going to someone that does not have a good background or the experience of removing hair permanently. A lot of places can remove your hair but not everyone can remove it permanently.
