Paul Harvey was one of the most listed to radio broadcasters in the world.  He passed away on Saturday 2/28/2009 at the age of 90 in a hospital near his winter home in Phoenix, Arizona.  I’ll always remember him for that long distinctive pause …… and then …. “Good day”.  At one point he had names such as “the voice of the Silent Majority”, “the voice of Middle America”, or “the apostle of Main Street”.

Paul Harvey has broadcast a daily news show since at least the 1960s. He’s a great broadcaster, and does an uplifting and accurate broadcast. He also supports the Boy Scouts, and Hillsdale College, one of the few accredited colleges that takes NO Federal money, advertises on his show regularly.
