Who is Pat Woertz?
Pat, or Patricia, Woertz is the CEO of Archer Daniels Midland. The company is responsible for transforming crops into food ingredients, agriculturally derived fuels and chemicals and other marketplace needs.
The majority of her career was built through the oil industry, in particular Chevron where she rose to become Executive Vice President of Chevron’s global downstream operations. She is expected to focus on ethanol and biofuels at ADM. Woertz is third on Fortune’s list of the "50 Most Powerful Women" for 2009.
